About Me

In 1999, I began studying photography at Columbia College in Chicago while I was the owner of a high fashion shoe boutique. At Columbia College, I learned invaluable hands on techniques from some of Chicago’s top practicing photographers and working artists.

Passionate about the storytelling capabilities of photography, I decided to turn my part-time hobby into a serious profession. For me, photography became the perfect field to encompass all of the artistic elements I love.

I truly enjoy the process of one-on-one collaborations with the people I photograph. I feel one-on-one collaborations provide an environment for trust, and the opportunity for me and my subjects to explore creative ideas freely without the fear of embarrassment.

After family, photography is my full-time passion.
